Introduction
Formerly known as Community Care Northern Beaches (CCNB), Proveda offers independent, trusted, and specialist care in the healthcare sector. With a commitment to fostering growth, connection, and support, Proveda leverages its expertise to empower individuals and communities alike. As a not-for-profit provider, Proveda extends its services across various domains, including aged care, disability support, mental health services, and end-of-life care, ensuring comprehensive support for those in need.
The problem
In a strategic collaboration, Proveda partnered with UC Marketplace to create a service-based marketplace tailored for managing Home Care service requests. A seamless integration with Alayacare, their care management solution, was pivotal for the success of this marketplace. This integration facilitated streamlined processes, allowing Proveda’s care support personnel and service to collaborate effectively in managing at-home visits for clients in need.
The overarching goal was to streamline the work between Proveda and the end user, to deliver more valuable and efficient care outcomes. The platform was designed to optimize operations, by centralizing invoice management, service notes, and care information within a single, user-friendly platform.
The solution
The implementation leveraged our Project Bidding capabilities out of the box. Customizations were made to suit Proveda’s specific requirements for efficiently managing service requests. A key aspect of this implementation involved an integration with Alayacare, Proveda’s care management provider, enabling the creation, mapping, and transmission of service requests to the marketplace. Care administrators and support personnel were able to assist in the management of service requests with service providers in a collaborative and seamless manner.
In addition to these requirements, UC Marketplace developed a bespoke mobile application to complement the project bidding process. This mobile application allows service providers effectively manage their service requests, input essential care note information stored against the customer, and manage the delivery of the service itself with an acceptance from the customer. This comprehensive solution is a reflection of UC Marketplace’s commitment to delivering tailored, user-centric solutions that streamline the overall processes of our clientele.
The outcome
Due to the substantial number of service providers and internal personnel requiring onboarding and training, this phase occurred gradually over time. Following this process, Proveda is now fully operational, marking a significant milestone in their journey. Notably, Proveda recently underwent a rebranding initiative (from CCNB to Proveda), with UC Marketplace providing assistance throughout the process
As a result of these efforts, Proveda’s operational processes have been seamlessly integrated between systems, facilitating a smoother workflow. The response from service providers has been positive, reflecting the success of the marketplace.
